Guano Samples Species Determination |

The Big Brown, and Little brown bat are the most abundant bats in the US today and are the most likely to use man made structures for roosts in the northern 2/3's of the United States. The big brown bat is the only bat that will overwinter/hibernate in buildings. Since bats are so shy and elusive a guano sample/comparison can more readily assist you in determining the likely species roosting at your location. This is important in eventually planning for a bat exclusion if necessary and the proper time in which to perform it. |

Simply print this page and match your guano to either of above samples for likely determination. |
